steps to recovering your
impounded vehicle

1. CALL OUR OFFICE
Call our office in Harrison during office hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
2. BRING PAPERWORK
Bring the following paperwork: Proof of Ownership (any of the following:
- Current registration
- Title with your name printed on front
- Current DMV printout, or rental vehicle contract (if its a rental)
- Proof of ownership may be re-moved from the vehicle as required)
- State of government issued photo identification (Driver’s license, Sheriff’s cards, INS-issued Temporary Alien Cards, Student ID, Military ID, etc.)
All law enforcement holds, if any, must be released before any property will be released. In the event the registered owner is unable to be present for the release of a vehicle you must have a notarized Letter of Permission for Release.
3. PROVIDE FULL PAYMENT
We accept cash, *cash only on all arrests*. Checks or debit/credit cards will not be accepted.
INSTRUCTIONS TO RETRIEVE PROPERTY FROM A VEHICLE
Note: We will only release property from a vehicle to a registered owner. There are no exceptions to this rule. You must be able to provide a valid ID and current ownership in your name to claim any property. If the vehicle has a police hold, you must obtain a ‘property release’ from the appropriate police department.
